Our mission
Following Christ in Kennesaw.
We strive to be like the early church. Faithfully following God's word, without adding to it or taking away from it, is our goal. We meet each week to worship God, study Scripture, share the Lord's Supper, and encourage one another to live as disciples of Jesus.
Our vision is to follow Christ faithfully and to share His truth and love with those around us, so that others may know Him, obey His gospel, and walk with Him too.
how we're different
We are a congregation, not a denomination.
The Kennesaw church of Christ seeks to follow New Testament Christianity. Nothing more, nothing less. Our goal is to speak where the Bible speaks, and to remain silent where the Bible is silent, restoring the faith and practice of the church described in the New Testament. We are not a denomination, but a local congregation striving to follow the pattern of the early church as revealed in Scripture.
Each local congregation is autonomous, governed only by Christ through His Word, not by denominational councils, conventions, or human creeds. We hold Scripture alone as our authority, and seek to follow Christ as His Word directs.
“Those who Worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”John 4:24
Our Beliefs
Plan of Salvation
Forgiveness is a gift we don't earn or deserve (Ephesians 2:8–9). Even so, the New Testament lays out a clear path for receiving God’s grace. It's one that the early church followed and that we are called to follow still.
